It so important to do grounding work. Even if you don't practice witchcraft. Grounding work can be extremely helpful for those that suffer from anxiety, PTSD, panic, and depression. Grounding can also be good for your overall quality of life and health!
Grounding is a practice that can help you to focus on your present surroundings, instead of feeling trapped in the past or future.
Grounding is also known as 'earthing'- it is a therapeutic technique, when we make an energetic connection to the earth's energies. Basically, electrically connecting you to earth!
If you want a simple technique for grounding, walk barefoot in the grass, dirt or sand.
Technically, we as humans are bioelectrical beings. Our bodies tend to be neutrally charged...however, we can become unbalanced. When a cell becomes stimulated, it becomes more positively charged. The Earth's surface is negatively charged. When we make contact through grounding, we discharge our excess energy into the earth, producing a HEALING effect on a cellular level.
How cool is that?
Grounding may also be helpful with:
Reduce Levels of Cortisol
Decrease Chronic Pain
Restoring Body Balance
Practice incorporating grounding techniques today! Your health may depend on it!
"What do you do to ground yourself? I like to sit outside in the grass and connect to the earth directly." - Laurie
“Earthing connects us to Nature and Nature is the ultimate source of health and healing."
