The Wee Little Witch

Once Upon A Time...

There was a wee little witch.

She did her best to live her life with compassion, empathy, and kindness.

She studied and practiced her craft daily. Doing all sorts of things to help raise her vibes and to help raise the energetic vibe of others.

Her journey was trusting in the the process of finding her higher self.

The higher self just means a more evolved version of yourself, the truest form of your being. By shedding old energies and tapping into the unlimited power of the human spirit, we can welcome in our higher selves with open arms...and in that...we can welcome all people, in all walks of life.

The wee little witch was looking for likeminded people.

She decided it would be good to join some online communities to connect with people on the same path.

To her surprise, these communities were filled with some pretty toxic people claiming to be on a spiritual path. At first it made her sad to see such belligerence between fellow witches. It then turned to anger, and she found herself getting sucked into these toxic conversations. She would try to reason with people who had zero willingness to learn or even accept that there were many ways one could practice their path. It made her feel frustrated. She started to feel terrible about herself. It made her feel low and depressed. It was making her question her own path.

Then one day she had an epiphany. She realized she was focusing on all the negative words and people. Deep down in her heart, she knew her path was the right path. It didn't matter what anyone else was saying. She had put in the work, read, and studied. She had taken her knowledge and applied it directly to her life and her spiritual path. She knew, deep down in her soul, that it was a beautiful path that she was following. What others said, had no power over her any longer.

So, the wee little witch decided, she could not change others and how they acted, no matter what she said or did. The only one she could change, was herself. So, she continued to seek out these online communities. Albeit, there are a lot of toxic people, there are also a lot of positive people who are open and willing to learn new and different things. There are people who have soft ears to listen, open hearts filled with compassion, and people who will not tear others down in order to build themselves up. There ARE people in these communities who want to lift others up and not break them. THOSE are the people to focus on. Not the toxic people.

The wee little witch learned that you just don't engage with that type of energy. And so, she lived on and continue down her path. Taking only the things that resonated and leaving behind what didn't without tearing others and their practice down in the process. And she lived happily, ever after.

The End.

The morale of the story: Don't allow people to make more withdrawals than deposits in your life, you will soon be in the negative. Know when to close out the account.

I Adore this! Ironically, I was just having this exact same conversation with another like-minded friend of mine, who was telling me how he felt that other acquaintances and friends of his were constantly taking and taking, and he felt that he had nothing left to give, and I'm like you can't pour from an empty cup, you must take care of yourself first.
